Dedicated email address
This might sound like a lot of work, but it can help you better organize your job search. Important emails can be lost easily within your regular account.
Create a dedicated email address that can be used while applying for jobs. Check your emails regularly, respond to potential employers, and follow-up accordingly. Not only will it save you time, but it will have you with tracking your job applications in a better way.

Update your Resume
The first step is ensuring all the necessary information about your professional and academic experience is up to date. Do not forget to include any recent certifications done.

Update your LinkedIn profile
Not everything can be included in the Resume. LinkedIn profile is the best way to showcase all the accomplishments, certifications, volunteer work, licenses, awards and skills. Be sure to add every tiny detail of work you have done on your LinkedIn profile, as you may not know what can lure the employer’s interest.

Prepare for the standard questions
Below are a few questions that are widely asked in any interview.

Tell us about your work experience. What are the key responsibilities in your current role? Why are you looking for a new position? Please tell us how your current and past experience is relevant to this role?

Be well prepared to answer these questions as this is their way to walk through your professional journey, and the more seamless you will make it sound, the better your chances of getting hired!

Graduate Programs
Many companies have introduced early career programs that allow beginners to kick-start their professional careers. You can find more information about these opportunities on the company website.

Reach out to the Recruiters!
This is an important one! Do not always wait for the employers to approach you. If you find an opportunity that matches your skillset, search the recruiter and reach out to them.
Share your profile and contact information. And hope for the best! :)

Ambitious list
Create an ambitious list of your dream companies to work for. However, do not restrict yourselves to that list.
Look out for a suitable match to your profile; if the job description matches your profile, apply for that job. That will be your safe list.
This way, you might land up with more than one potential offer!

Time management
Applying for jobs every day for hours can be exerting. Therefore, it is essential to allocate a specific number of hours per day. Take regular breaks, and track the ones you already applied for. Analyze the response you’re getting from potential employers. Based on that, keep changing your strategy to apply for jobs, accordingly.

Storytelling
Lastly, phrase your experience and skills as if you are narrating a story. All the components of your answer should combine and form a constructive story that directs towards what you are trying to achieve going forward.

Lastly, if you get a call back from the employer, read the job description multiple times before appearing for the interview and try to incorporate that into your answers.

There might be applications that you do not have much experience with. Tell the hiring manager about your experience with tools similar to those mentioned in the job description so that they know you will be able to learn quickly based on the relevant experience.

Hope this helps with your next job hunt! Good Luck :)
